The LG 32ML600M is the only true glossy monitor model left but it's only 1080p, tho with its 1300:1 contrast, it's better than majority of IPS. For watching, TV is the way to go IMO. No monitors can match for the time being. Checked the specs of the older dell, had no idea about its much higher contrast ratio.
