1341 posts · Joined 2011. #6 · Jul 21, 2020. I have both, a 997r and 994r. For regular mowing on regular properties the 994r is more than adequate. For tough jobs it can’t hold a candle to the 997r. They are worlds apart in power, but worlds apart in price too. I get around 1.1 - 1.3 gallons per hour with the 997r.
