Heritage rough rider issues

Wanted to share that I also had an issue with the loading gate and hammer - both were bent/warped. I was able to hammer the loading gate flatter but no luck with the hammer. Called heritage and as a one time courtesy, they shipped me a new hammer and gate for free (as opposed to me shipping them to the gun to repair).

I've had my 4 3/4" RR for around 10 years with no problems. Looked at, and shot the Wrangler, and the two revolvers are similar enough that I decided to keep the RR. The Ruger action is smoother out of the box, but I take my Rough Riders, flip on the safety, put the Orange Cylinder Protective disc in, and dry fire them in front of the TV for a night and they all smooth out pretty quickly. ….
