Gmc sierra radio display not working

Followup on my last post. I installed the new HMI and radio module that updates to CarPlay but that didn't fix the "ghost touch" problem. I ordered a replacement touch screen/digitizer on eBay for about $30 took me about an hour to replace it following directions but having no prior experience with this type of rebuild.

The radio cuts in and out, goes to auto mute, and in some cases plays a different station that is represented on the screen. Drove straight to my dealers service department so they could see for their selves . He said Oh it's just a bad touch screen !3.
