Strange Problem With Glock 17 Safety Plunger. I bought a used Glock 17 generation 3 from a local gun shop a few months ago. The gun has been functioning fine, I just noticed an interesting thing going on that I haven't seen. When I strip the upper from the frame, I can freely pull the striker back and forth through the safety plunger.
